Hi, I'm Helen
Seventeen years ago, I took a trip that completely changed my life.
What was meant to be a six-month overland adventure became a lifelong passion for Africa, its people and the incredible experiences that can only be found by travelling beyond the tourist trail.
Since then, I’ve explored 19 African countries, led more than 55 group adventures, and built lasting friendships with local communities across the continent. Those friendships are at the heart of every Rock My Adventure itinerary.
I founded Rock My Adventure to create authentic, adventure-filled journeys that bring together incredible people, meaningful local experiences and unforgettable memories.
When I’m not leading tours, you’ll usually find me scouting new destinations, catching up with old friends across Africa, researching unique experiences or sharing my adventures through my travel blog, Helen in Wonderlust.
