Wonderlust Weekender – North Wales
Join us for a fun-filled weekend in North Wales, designed for adventurous people who want to escape everyday life for a few days, spend time in nature, and meet like-minded people along the way.
We’ll combine scenic walks, paddleboarding, wild swimming opportunities, and spa time with cosy pubs, great food, plenty of laughs, and a relaxed social atmosphere.
Whether you come solo or with friends, you’ll leave with fantastic memories, new connections, and a refreshed sense of adventure.

Itinerary
Day 1: Welcome to North Wales
Arrive in the picturesque mountain village of Betws-y-Coed and settle into our cosy hotel for the weekend. Once you’ve checked in, you can spend the afternoon exploring the village, relaxing in the hotel’s pool and spa facilities, or simply soaking up the beautiful surroundings.
This evening we’ll head out for dinner and drinks before joining the local pub quiz – a fun and relaxed way to get to know your fellow adventurers and kick off the weekend.

Day 2: Mountains, Lakes & Adventure
After breakfast, we’ll venture into the heart of Eryri (Snowdonia) National Park for a scenic walk around the stunning Llyn Idwal. Surrounded by dramatic mountain scenery, this easy hike offers some of the most breathtaking views in North Wales. We’ll stop for a picnic lunch overlooking the lake before continuing our adventure.
In the afternoon, it’s time to hit the water with a choice of paddleboarding or kayaking on beautiful Llyn Padarn. There’ll also be the opportunity for a refreshing wild swim or cold-water dip for anyone feeling brave.
Afterwards, we’ll return to Betws-y-Coed where you can relax in the hotel’s pool, jacuzzi, sauna and steam room, explore the village, or simply unwind before another evening of good food, drinks, and great company.
And of course… we’ll be keeping an eye out for live music, enjoying plenty of laughs and there will almost certainly be a bit of dancing along the way too!

Day 3: Farewell
After a leisurely breakfast, enjoy a relaxed final morning in Betws-y-Coed. Wander through the village, browse the independent shops and cafés, take a riverside walk, or visit the enchanting Fairy Glen.
If you’re still craving adventure, Zip World is located nearby and offers some of the UK’s most exciting adrenaline-fuelled activities. We’ll then have the option of a traditional Sunday roast before saying our goodbyes and heading home with new friendships, fantastic memories, and a refreshed sense of adventure.

Travelling solo? No problem at all – most people will be! We’ll pair you with a same-sex roommate, making this a great opportunity to meet like-minded adventurers.

Getting There
Whether you’re travelling by car or train, Betws-y-Coed is surprisingly easy to reach.
- By Car: Expect a journey of around 1.5 hours from Liverpool and Manchester, 2 hours from Birmingham, and 4–5 hours from London.
- By Train: Betws-y-Coed has its own railway station with connections via Llandudno Junction and Manchester. Once you arrive, it’s just a short 10-minute walk to the hotel.

- Bringing your dog? The hotel is dog-friendly, so your four-legged companion is welcome too. Please let us know at the time of booking if you’d like to bring a dog so we can arrange a pet-friendly room (subject to availability and an additional charge).
- If you’d prefer your own space, a limited number of private rooms are available for a supplement of £130.
