Ghana, Benin & Togo Tour Testimonials

“I wholeheartedly recommend this trip.

This trip is a fantastic tour de force into the world of voodoo. Conflicting, perplexing, surprising, mysterious and exciting in equal measure. We saw so much in only 2 weeks, that by the end we were convinced we must have spent 2 month! We had unforgettable moments of hilarity and friendship and felt tightly bonded as a group. If you love culture, this trip has a lot to offer. It was not always easy going, but I felt it was incredibly rewarding. We had some rare insights into authentic voodoo culture, as it is practized today and the opportunity to witness beautiful dance rituals. There is an incredible amount of history, from the slave trade to building empires, thats waiting to be discovered. The complexity of the voodoo belief system is staggering and in itself full of contradiction. As West Africa is not a great place to travel solo and entertainment and transport is definitely limited, I felt so lucky to have a group of fellow intrepid travelers to share my experiences with. Helen was fantastic as usual at bringing different personalities together and ensuring we all had an amazing time. I wholeheartedly recommend this trip to any intrepid history and culture lover!
